Personal Information
Certain sections of our site require you to register and we will request some personal information including your real name, user name, email address and password to create your account.
Your password will be maintained on our system in an encrypted form and is not accessible to anyone but you, although we may change your password if you request us to do so. Your user name will be shown publicly within our forums, but your real name and email address will only be shown publicly within our forums if you choose to do so.
Your personal information will never be divulged to a third party unless we are legally required to do so. In such an eventuality we will provide notice of this to you via email, but may disclose such information without your permission.
Email usage
Your email details will only be used for specific business purposes relating to @home media. License Keys
@home media products use a license key system to help protect against unauthorised copying. If we issue you with a license key it will contain your real name as supplied to us, the date on which the license was issued and details of the products licensed. We generate these keys on demand and do not keep copies of any license keys issued.
We suggest that you keep your license key safe and do not distribute it to any other party.
Support Forums
Our site hosts a number of support forums intended to allow our support staff and customers to discuss topics related to our products. Any comments that you post within these forums will be publicy viewable, so you are strongly advised not to post any content of a sensitive nature.
We may maintain backup copies of forum postings so some contents may be retained internally even if they are subsequently deleted from the forum.
Product Orders
When ordering products from @home media, we will store your name, address and contact details electronically in our back office systems. These systems are secure and private to us and the data within them is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
All financial details that you supply (e.g. credit card number or PayPal account) are held by PayPal and we have no access to them. Please consult the PayPal privacy policy for more details.
Website Access
We record visits to each of our web pages for the purposes of compiling web traffic statistics. We also record the IP address of all visitors in order to compile geographic access statistics.
Cookies are used to distinguish between new or return visitors, and contain no information that can be used to identify individual visitors. Cookies are also used to record session information, such as your forum login status or shopping cart items.
Access to Information
Upon request we provide site visitors with access to all information (including proprietary information) that we maintain about them. Consumers can make a request to view or correct any such information via email to the address given above.
