mediate media manager

Managing your media with mediate couldn't be simpler. mediate comes with a straightforward manager application to let you define the various top-level media locations you want to use within mediate. Once you've added folders, you can then browse the contents in mediate.

mediate will work with media stored on a local hard disk, a CD or DVD, a remote machine, network attached storage devices or even USB memory sticks. The media manager application lets you add as many folders as you like to music, video or picture sections.

You can even mix and match different media types, so you can keep your music videos with your other music, and video clips taken on your digital camera with the rest of your photos. These can then be used in multi-media playlists within mediate.

If you have media spread across several different folders or devices, you can group these together within mediate using virtual folders - for example you could create several virtual folders named "Films" which point to different places, and these would be shown in a single combined folder within mediate.
