The music browser screen lets you easily navigate through your music collection, drilling down into any folder structure you care to use to select music tracks to play.

mediate includes support for animated visualisation effects whilst music is playing to add interest to your music. These even continue whilst browsing other music in a small preview.

mediate allows you to view your music in either a grid or list format with the current music visual, video or slideshow image displayed in a preview whilst you browse.

The video browser screen lets you easily find any required video files, and even lets you play a folder of video files in a playlist (useful for watching films split over 2 files, or for a marathon viewing session of your favourite TV series).

mediate includes extensive support for DVD playback including full navigation of DVD title, extras and scene selection menus.

The picture browser screen lets you peruse your digital images at your leisure, or to play a slideshow with fading and subtle animation effects. mediate allows to play a list of audio tracks in the background to your slideshow, or even to use the soundtrack from your favourite film or music video.

The weather screens display current local weather conditions and forecast weather for the next few days. Weather can be configured for most locations in the world.

The now playing screen shows the current music visualisation, video or picture slideshow either fullscreen or in a preview with additional media information. This screen is always available from anywhere within mediate by pressing a single button.

Information for the current media file can be overlaid on a music visualisation, video or picture slideshow and is automatically updated as you move forwards or backwards through the playlist.

Help is always just a button press away with mediate. Every part of the mediate user interface includes a corresponding help page so it's easy for anyone to learn.

mediate lets you perform all necessary setup from the comfort of your armchair using the remote. You can easily modify display, sound, slideshow, theme or language settings using a simple on screen interface.

For advanced users, mediate includes an extensive configuration screen to allow many aspects of mediate to be customised to suit your particular setup. Complete control is provided over media formats, codecs and devices.
